My first paid photoshoot in my life in 2014

I clearly remember this day, it was a July evening. By big chance a colleague of mine, Pep, maybe a lot of you know him, needed a second wedding photographer. I didn’t imagine could be so difficult and I accepted the work. It was the first paid photo shoot in my life I have ever had in my life.

The year was 2014, during summer and I was hired as a wedding assistant. It was a sea view wedding next to the small stone beach Punta Negra on the beautiful island of Mallorca.

During the whole wedding, I was very stressed just wasn’t sure if I had taken nice photos or not, if I had adjusted the camera correctly or the adjustments were set incorrectly, if the images were underexposed or overexposed or maybe both, etc. I realized that it was a big responsibility to be a wedding photographer.

The first photographer Pep helped me a lot, but all the time I was unsure and thought this wasn’t my place and I couldn’t get a professional wedding photographer.
